How it works
All the walks in this programme are free to attend and there are walks for all levels of ability.
It’s a great way to improve your health and wellbeing and to meet new people. The walks are ideal for those who would like to improve their health by increasing their physical activity levels and discover the green spaces and scenery that Portsmouth has to offer. All walks are led by trained volunteer walk leaders who are there to ensure the route is safe. The walks are graded for difficulty and distance/time estimates are supplied so you’re well informed before you set off.
New walkers will be asked to complete a health questionnaire before the start of your first walk. Please arrive a few minutes before the start time for registration. You will need suitable footwear and comfortable clothing as walks take place in all weathers. We recommend you carry a bottle of water and bring any medication that you may need.
